CONCERT STEINWAY PIANO

At its inaugural recital on November 16 2023, S.E. Laurent Bili, Ambassador of France in the United States of America, in the company of S.E. Philippe Etienne, Former Ambassador of France, Anish Melwani, Chairman and CEO of LVMH USA and Dr. Mathieu Petitjean, Founder and President of the French American Piano Society inaugurated the LVMH Piano. Pianist Helene Tysman, in a highly attended recital, breathed life into the instrument.

2023 PLEYEL PIANO

On May 16th 2024, S.E. Laurent Billy, Ambassador of France in the United States of American in the company of Dr. Mathieu Petitjean, Founder and President of the French American Piano Society inaugurated the CA Pleyel Piano.

The piano was selected by and inaugurated under the hands of Maestro Yves Henry.

A plaque with the following statement is located on the cover of the piano:

FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THIS PIANO, HEREIN NAMED IN THEIR HONOR

The Credit Agricole Piano

At this inaugural recital, "Nocturnales", Maestro Yves Henry explained: " The Pleyel piano, with its ability to faithfully render the nuances of the pianist's playing and the subtleties of color and atmosphere of each piece, will allow the audience to literally immerse themselves in the heart of pianistic romanticism in its deepest and most secret form

This modern Pleyel piano replaces the baby grand Pleyel # 147568 acquired on August 12 1909 by “Ministere des Affaires Etrangeres”, now located in the “Pleyel Studio” at the Residence of the Ambassador.
